Rhian Bold

Rhian is a junior doctor on the Academic Foundation Programme, undertaking the academic component of her training with the Psychological Medicine Research team.

Before becoming a doctor, Rhian studied Modern History and Modern Languages at Worcester College, Oxford. She then spent several years working in NHS management, whilst also undertaking an MSc in Leadership and Service Improvement at Manchester Business School, before completing a degree in Medicine at King’s College London.

Rhian mainly works on The HOME Study. Her research interests include the epidemiology and management of chronic disease in people with severe mental illness.
