Elliot gained his BSc in Psychology from the University of Birmingham in 2016. This included a year abroad in Canada, during which he completed a research project on foetal alcohol syndrome in indigenous populations. He completed his MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Sheffield in 2018. Between these degrees, he spent a year working for the Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust.
Elliot works on the HOME study. His research interests include how best to care for those suffering from dementia and chronic loneliness, as well as neuroimaging investigations of free-will and consciousness.
